My husband the cruiser.......

Little did I know that when I first suggested a cruise to my hubby that I would encounter such resistance. The challenge was to offer him a picture of all things male. To my credit, it must have worked when I told him how he would be pampered and waited on from sun-up to sun down. Convincing him to take a vacation at sea may have been a challenge but cruises today offer men of all ages plenty to do by himself as well as with the family or myself.

Here are some of the amenities that just might get your guy on that long awaited cruise. (besides being waited on).
1. Lots to do aboard most ships. Cruises are floating entertainment centers. Some have climbing walls, bowling alleys, bars catering to every musical taste, movies, casinos and people watching.
2. Adventure. How about cave tubing and zip line tours, hiking up a river course or riding a dogsled or maybe a jeep tour.
3. Great on board gyms and tracks. Running around a track on the top deck of a ship with a sea breeze or a state-of -the art gymnasium can help to work off all that good food and alcohol.
4. Big screen TV on the ship where your man can watch sports or just relax with other guys might be right up his alley. Or how about a tour of a brewery off ship or the rum distilleries in the Caribbean ports.

Most of all when you remind your significant other that there are plenty of cruises out where your cruise fare includes all of your meals, entertainment and lodging for a mere $50 to $100 per person per day, how can you go wrong. Once you get him on that first ship you might just find that him telling his friends that when he got home he couldn't figure out why he couldn't get that kind of pampering.....
How about another cruise!
